the following chemical and puncture tests.

Puncture Resistance and Durability Testing
Pushing down on the surface of the Ergo-Industrial SPU cushion
seat, a piercing device descended at a rate of 300mm/min (12
in./min.) until the device was nearly touching the bottom
base board of the seat. Indentation had occurred, however
no rupture was made.
Ergo-Industrial SPU cushion seats withstood the durability
test of 100,000 cycles with a cyclic load of 0 to 120 lbf
with no evidence of any cracks or detrimental effects.
Flammability
Ergo-Industrial SPU coating is flame resistant. Welding
sparks and red hot embers are not a problem.
